In recent weeks, talks between Liverpool FC and Bayern Munich had escalated, while Manchester United had also reportedly been keen on bringing the Spanish standout to Old Trafford. Instead, though, Thiago will be heading to Anfield to suit up for Liverpool FC.Â
For Klopp, this Liverpool news is massive, especially after the club reportedly agreed to a deal worth around 20 million pounds, which is only $26 million. That is an absolute steal for the Reds, with things only made better knowing that they landed him ahead of one of their biggest rivals in Man United.Â
