If you haven't been paying attention to Liverpool FC this season, you've really been missing quite the show. The Reds are in second place of the Premier League table, just one point behind Chelsea FC.
As you might have been able to guess, star goal-scorer Mohamed Salah is leading the charge for the team, recording amazing finishes left and right. We saw that against Manchester City.
So, just how good has Salah been? Jurgen Klopp didn't mince words, saying the Egyptian is the best player in the world right now.

In the 5-0 win over Watford this weekend, Salah recorded a brilliant goal. This came after his worldie going up against Manchester City earlier this month. That goal is still being talked about, as he made the Man City defense look like a JV squad.
So, just how great has Salah been in the EPL this year? In the club's eight matches, Salah has seven goals. That's simply unreal. Oh, and he's also added four assists.
With him playing at such a high level, LFC is looking like a true contender not only to win the league, but potentially the Champions League as well. Last season was a bit of a disappointment, but Klopp's men have really flipped the script thus far this season.
Salah's form is outstanding right now. If he can keep this up, there's no question Liverpool could record yet another unforgettable campaign. Only time will tell just how many goals he'll finish with, but we agree with Klopp: Salah is the best of the best right now.
