Folks are still talking about what Liverpool superstar Mo Salah was able to get done against Manchester City on Sunday. With things tied at 1-1 in the second half, Jurgen Klopp was waiting for one of his playmakers to step up: Enter Salah.
In the 76th minute, Salah dazzled in the box and sliced his way through multiple Manchester City defenders. Then, Salah used his weaker foot and fired off a right-footed bullet past a diving Ederson.
That right there is nothing short of fantastic from Salah. It's one thing for him to score a goal like this. But when it comes against Manchester City, you already know it's only going to add to how impressive it was. LFC fans were going nuts in the stands.
Salah is in the middle of a brilliant campaign thus far for Liverpool. Each time he's on the pitch, the Egyptian has the ability to really put on a show for everyone to enjoy. This time, it was at Anfield.
Unfortunately for Liverpool, Kevin De Bruyne scored a goal in the 81st minute to tie things up and the game ended in a 2-2 draw. At the end of the day, though, it was one of the best games of the year.
As for Salah's goal, it'll be tough for him to score another one like that. It really was a brilliant finish for him.
