UEFA sets June 30 deadline for when they want Premier League season finished
On Tuesday, UEFA dropped some major news, announcing it has pushed back EURO 2020 to next year. That wasn't the only headline, though.
In addition, UEFA's governing body informed leaders of the English Premier League they must wrap up the 2019-20 season by no later than June 30, of course assuming the players in England return to the pitch.

The big question remains if action will resume. COVID-19 has reached multiple clubs, including Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, who both tested positive last week.
The reason June 30 has been set as the hard date is because nearly 70 EPL players will have their current deals expire at the end of June. Per 90min.com, 68 players will be out of contract.

Liverpool: Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne, Andy Lonergan

As things stand, Liverpool is at the top of the league table with an incredible 82 points, 25 clear of second-place Manchester City. With the Reds looking to win their first league title in 30 years, it remains to be seen what the EPL will decide to do with the remainder of the campaign.
