All great things must come to an end. Unfortunately for Paris Saint-Germain fans, that means they'll have to say goodbye to two club superstars this summer.
According to PSG sporting director Leonardo, both Thiago Silva and Edinson Cavani will not be offered new contracts this offseason and have in turn played their final game for the Parisian giants.
The news was confirmed by the club's sporting director.

Supporters saw this news coming, as both Silva and Cavani had been rumored to be leaving for months now. Still, having the news confirmed by Leonardo still stings quite a bit.
Silva, the team's captain, has been a mainstay on defense for years now and has made more than 200 appearances. Cavani, an Uruguayan, himself has set many records for the club. This of course includes becoming the first player in team history to record 200 goals with the club. That's an incredible accomplishment.
Both South American stars will forever be considered team legends. Unfortunately, though, the two players' time making incredible plays for PSG has come to an end.
