This is going to be a tasty last game with the championship on the line. Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe are headlining this one, making the showdown all the more intriguing. Who will come out on top?

Argentina are the slight World Cup favorites over France

For Argentina, there's no question that there's an unreal amount of pressure on Messi to help his country win it all. Arguably the best player of all time, Messi has never won a World Cup. It's a big hole on his career resume.

However, after recently winning the Copa America with Argentina, he has shut up countless haters. If he wins the World Cup this weekend, the argument between him and Ronaldo will be easy - sorry Ronaldo fans.

Meanwhile for France, this team is loaded and Mbappe wants to remind everyone that he's one of the best players out there too. Olivier Giroud has been spectacular for the defending champs this tournament, but Mbappe has been a menace flying down the pitch over the past couple of weeks.

As a teenager, Mbappe helped France win it all back in 2018. He has his eyes on becoming a Would Cup champion for the second time, which feels unreal for a 23 year old. If France ends up lifting the trophy again, Mbappe will play a massive role in things.
