What a match we just witnessed between Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the Champions League semifinals. While it looked like PSG was going to leave with a win, Pep Guardiola's men had other ideas.
Trailing 1-0 at halftime, City came from behind to record a memorable 2-1 victory in Paris over the Ligue 1 giants. Talk about a HUGE result for Manchester City FC in this one.

Paris Saint-Germain opened the scoring in the 15th minute thanks to a beautiful header from Brazilian standout Marquinhos. He split the defense and was able to find the back of the net with a brilliant play.
After that, PSG kept applying the pressure and was hoping to increase their lead. Instead, we entered the halftime break at 1-0.
In the second half, Man City kept applying pressure themselves and looked more and more likely to even up the contest. In the 64th minute, Kevin De Bruyne made things 1-1 on what looked to be a cross, but no Man City or PSG players got their body to the ball and it somehow sneaked inside of the right post to find the net. It was a stunning equalizer.
Then, in the 71st minute, Riyad Mahrez scored a worldie on a free kick to give the English Premier League giants a 2-1 advantage. On the delivery, Mahrez was able to split the wall and get a wonderful shot past a diving Keylor Navas. Frustration built for PSG and they left the stadium with a disappointing result.
The same can't be said for Man City, as the team is oh so close to reaching the Champions League Final.
