While Bayern made things interesting in the first half, City ended up cruising to a 3-0 victory, with Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland all finding the back of the net. Now, Man City is in prime position to move on to the semifinals.

Rodri scored a world-class goal for Man City vs. Bayern

There are plenty of talking points from the action, but we've surely got to bring up the insane goal from Rodri to open up the scoring. In the first half, he delivered one of the best goals of the tournament. Seriously, this left-footed effort was unreal. And this is his weaker foot?

That strike gave City a 1-0 lead going into halftime. Then in the second half, led by Leroy Sane, Bayern looked like they were in prime position to even the scoring at 1-1. However, the City defense stood strong.

Then, Silva scored to make things 2-0. All that was needed was a Haaland finish to keep the party going at the Etihad Stadium. Well, the young striker delivered with a pretty strike of his own to close out the scoring.

Manchester City has been close to winning the Champions League title in recent years, but they've somehow managed to let things slip away.

However, it's now starting to feel like this could be their year to make history. With Pep Guardiola in charge, the CL title indeed could be on the way soon.
