Diogo Jota put on a show for Liverpool against Atalanta.

Hat trick for Liverpool forward Diogo Jota was amazing to watch

When Liverpool announced it had reached a deal with Wolves to bring in striker Diogo Jota to Anfield, it wasn't looked at as a monster move. Due to the forward options Jurgen Klopp already had, it seemed like more of a depth signing. Well, that hasn't been the case at all.

Early on in his LFC career, Jota has been nothing short of sensational for Klopp and the club. That much was once again made clear on Tuesday night in Liverpool FC's dominant 5-0 win over Atalanta in the Champions League. So, how did Jota do?

A hat trick for Jota against Atalanta? Yes indeed. What a stunning performance for the 23-year-old standout from Portugal. While Jota was expected to make a difference for the club in his first season at Anfield, did anyone expect this?

In the destruction of Atalanta, Jota found the back of the net in the 16th, 33rd and 54th minute. His strikes were spectacular, with the Atalanta defense really having no answer in stopping him or Liverpool

With the brilliant play from Jota, rumors began to swirl after the match that Jurgen Klopp will now favor the Portuguese speedster over Roberto Firmino moving forward. Both guys will play, Klopp made clear after the match.

“For tonight the decision was clear," Klopp said on why Jota got the start over Firmino. "It made sense to use the good shape Diogo is in and because of the way Atalanta plays and defends the skillset of Diogo helps.

“But the world is sometimes a bad place that in a moment when someone is shining we speak immediately about another player – who it feels like played for us 500 games in a row and we wouldn’t be in the Champions League if Bobby Firmino is not with us – and I have to explain why he is not in the team. He will be in the team."

It's not a bad problem to have for Klopp and LFC, as he has two tremendous players ready to score stupendous goals for him whenever their number is called.

For Jota, his confidence is at another level right now, with his hat trick letting the world know he's always going to be ready to go under the brightest of lights. Expect more big things from him both in the Champions League and English Premier League action.
