Liverpool brotherhood showcased as Alisson Becker helps baptise Roberto Firmino
Whenever Liverpool hits the pitch, you can see just how close the players are with one another. However, the bonds and friendships they share aren't limited to the field or on game days.
Nope, that much was made clear this week when Roberto Firmino was baptized during a special, private ceremony. What Reds fans quickly noticed was goalie Alisson Becker not only was on hand, but helped Firmino throughout the process. It's nothing short of a touching moment.
As you can see in the video above, Firmino was moved to tears, as was Alisson. Firmino's wife was also overcome with emotion and no one can blame her for this.
Often times, we forget that superstars in the English Premier League are humans too. With Liverpool, this is especially the case, as they are tops of the EPL standings and have been playing out of this world.
But, this moment between Firmino and Alisson reminded us of how close this team is. It's a moment which most certainly brought yet another perfect smile to the face of manager Jurgen Klopp in the middle of this unforgettable campaign. One that feels destined to end with a league title and another deep run in the Champions League.
