Few people out there can question how great of a player Kevin De Bruyne is. Matter of fact, even Liverpool fans can't say he's not one of the best midfielders in the world.

Recently, the Belgian international received quite the honor, as he was named the 2019/20 English Premier League Player of the year. Even though Manchester City didn't win the league title for an unreal third season in a row, that doesn't take away from what De Bruyne was able to accomplish.

De Bruyne made history this past campaign, tying Arsenal legend Thierry Henry's single-season EPL assist record with 20. To be mentioned in the same sentence with Henry is truly an honor De Bruyne is quite appreciative of.

On top of that, he scored 13 goals in Premier League action. Who could forget his thunderbolt against Newcastle United. It was the kind of finish most boys practice in the backyard with their dads when they first start playing.

De Bruyne made it look as easy as ever.

Time and time again, De Bruyne fascinates fans who are watching him with his incredible passes and strikes. In 2019-20, he was clearly the EPL Player of the Year. With the new campaign set to start on Sept. 12, we can't wait to see him back in action!
