The move from the Etihad to the Emirates has been nothing short of sublime for Gabriel Jesus. While some people out there were ready to claim that the Brazilain forward was going to be a 'flop' with Arsenal FC, the complete opposite has been the case.
Thanks to his brilliant play, Jesus has already won over the Arsenal fanbase, as he's helped the team win its first four matches. Plain and simple, Jesus is just getting started for the London club.
Gabriel Jesus is just what Arsenal and Mikel Arteta needed
Thus far, Jesus has scored two goals and added three assists in his first four English Premier League matches with the club. That's just unreal to think about, as he's no question exceeded expectations.
Come Sunday, Jesus will have another opportunity to impress, as Arsenal is all set to head to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United. This is certainly one of the best rivalries in EPL.
Jesus is no stranger to playing against United, as he loved taking down the Reds while suiting up for Manchester City. Now, Jesus might be rocking a different jersey, but he'll hope to silence the MUFC fans at the Theatre of Dreams this weekend once again.
Some folks continue to try and bring down Jesus, including Man United legend Rio Ferdinand. Despite that, Jesus' hot start can't be ignored and manager Mikel Arteta is of course happy with his play.
How long can Jesus keep this up? We'll have to wait and see there, but the risk has definitely been worth it for the Arsenal board in bringing him to town. The supporters are loving what they're seeing from Jesus. Let's hope he can keep rocking at a high clip and help Arsenal record more big wins. A victory over United on Sunday would be amazing to see.
