Well, after only three minutes and five seconds, the EPL giants found the back of the net. And to no surprise, it was the youngster Erling Haaland who got the job done. It was the first of two goals for Haaland in a dominant 3-0 win for Pep Guardiola and Man City.

This was clinical from MCFC, as they barely broke a sweat. As great as it must feel to start the campaign off with three points, there's surely plenty of concern among the club's supporters when it comes to Kevin De Bruyne

De Bruyne, arguably the best midfielder in the world, went down with an injury in the first half and he had to be subbed of. De Bruyne was walking gingerly off the pitch, so this will surely be something to keep an eye on moving forward.

As disappointing as that was, there were still plenty of great things to take away from the City win, of course including the play of Haaland. He opened up the scoring early on and the delivered a tremendous strike in the 36th minute for his second goal of the contest.

Haaland has plenty of haters out there, but just what in the world can they say after seeing the finish below? He's without question one of the best players on the planet and his showing vs. Burnley reminded everyone of how good he is.

In the second half, Burnley did its best to try and make things interesting, but they barely put any pressure on goalie Ederson. In the 75th minute, Rodri closed the scoring at 3-0. All in all, it was another strong day at the office for City - the favorites to take home the EPL title once again.
