EPL news: Liverpool vs. Arsenal at Anfield has huge title implications

With the end of 2023 almost here, this is easily going to be one of the biggest games of the year, no doubt about that. Liverpool vs. Arsenal at Anfield - what more could you ask for?

That's what's coming on Saturday, as the two teams are ready to do everything possible to try and capture the three points. With the clubs placed No. 1 and No. 2 in the Premier League table, this very well could play a major role in who goes on to win the title.

Liverpool vs. Arsenal is going to be a blockbuster match

As things stand, Arsenal is at the top of the table with 39 points, while Liverpool is right behind them with 38 points. LFC had a chance to leap Arsenal in the standings, but they drew 0-0 to Manchester United last Sunday.

Liverpool dominated play, but they weren't able to find the game-winning goal. Now, manager Jurgen Klopp is ready for his side to bounce back at home this weekend, and he wants the fans in the stands to make a massie difference.

"We need Anfield on their toes from the first second without me having an argument with the opposition coach," Klopp said. "We need you from the first second. If you really want, if it's too much football in December, I don't know. Sorry we have to play it as well. But if you are not in the right shape, give your ticket to somebody else."

Meanwhile for Arsenal, they're coming off a 2-0 win over Brighton last weekend to lock in the top spot. The goals in that game were scored by Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz. More of the same will be needed against a stingy Liverpool defense.

Anfield is expected to be rockin' for this one, as Klopp has called on Liverpool supporters to bring their A-game. Arsenal won't shy away from the tough environment. From start to finish, this should be an incredible showdown. We can't wait to see who comes out on top.
