It's been an incredible past couple of days for Frank Lampard and Chelsea. First, they took down Manchester United on Sunday in the semifinals of the FA Cup 3-1 and will now take on Arsenal for the championship on August 1.
If that wasn't enough, on Monday morning monster news from the transfer market dropped, as it's being reported the Blues are on the verge of signing German standout Kai Havertz. This would be a big-time addition for Lampard's locker room if things do indeed get finalized.

As you can see, Chelsea is prepared to spend a pretty penny to bring the attacking midfielder to Stamford Bridge. He's an outstanding young talent, though, which is why the Blues are so serious on potentially bringing him to the English Premier League.
This season for Bayer Leverkusen, Havertz has scored 17 goals and recorded nine assists in 43 total appearances. This includes 12 goals and six assists in 30 Bundesliga matches.
With his great speed and goal-scoring abilities, along with his passing, it's no wonder teams across the globe have monumentally raised their interest in signing him.
However, it's looking like Chelsea is in the driver's seat to get something done. It'd be yet even more incredible news for Blues fans everywhere.
