Arsenal among five Premier League teams eyeing PSG captain Thiago Silva

PSG captain Thiago Silva has been in Paris since 2012, and has become a fan favorite for the Ligue 1 champions. However, now 35 years old, it's looking like Silva may have played his last game at the Parc des Princes.
Per English outlet 90min.com, there are five teams in the English Premier League alone who have shown interest in signing the Brazilian central defender. This includes Arsenal.

Silva has made more than 200 appearances with PSG and is a fixture on the Brazilian national team. He's a lockdown defender and has been among the best in the world for years.
Unfortunately, he's not getting any younger and PSG is looking at other options to look toward the team's defensive future. That's why word continues to grow that Silva will be leaving the club.
He'd make sense for the Gunners, who are looking to add some veteran reinforcements to a young squad. With Arsenal rebuilding things itself, the experience Silva provides would be invaluable for the youngsters on the team.
In addition to Arsenal, EPL sides Wolves, Everton, West Ham and Newcastle are pondering making a contract offer as well. Will Silva end up joining the EPL? That's something that surely looks like it could end up happening.
