The Brazilian winger left Liverpool in 2018 to sign with Barcelona, but his career in La Liga play got off to a bit of a rocky start.
After just one campaign with Barca, he was loaned out to Bayern Munich for the 2019-20 campaign. Coutinho remains with the Bundesliga giants, but isn't expected back next year.
This could potentially open the door for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta to make a move. It's no secret Arteta wants to overhaul the Gunners' midfield in hopes of pushing for a Champions League spot sooner than later. While Coutinho won't make the difference all on his own, he could be an outstanding addition for the club.
Hang on to your hats, Arsenal fans. This situation will be one to monitor for the coming months.
