Well, the big news finally arrived, with the Jets sending quite the draft compensation to Green Bay in exchange for Rodgers. With this, Rodgers' legendary career in the NFC North has come to a close. Now, he's headed to the Big Apple.

The Packers had made it quite clear that they were ready to move ahead with former first-round pick Jordan Love as their starter in 2023. However, the 39-year-old Rodgers still has a ton left in the tank and he's one of the best QBs in the game.

That's why the Jets had so much interest in landing his services. The Zach Wilson, a former No. 2 overall pick, experiment has been a nightmare from the start. Now, the Jets finally have a star signal-caller that fans can look forward to playing each Sunday.

Yes, Rodgers may be climbing a bit in age, but he's still a total stud. This has to be great news for young wide receiver Garrett Wilson too, as the former Ohio State speedster will be ready for a breakout season now that Rodgers will be throwing him the ball.

Oh and for those of you wondering, Rodgers will be wearing No. 8 next season. Although Joe Namath gave him permission for No. 12, AR is going with his old college number instead.

People can't wait to see what he'll be able to do at MetLife Stadium for the Jets. Rodgers knows there will be a ton of pressure on him under the new bright lights, but he's known for silencing his haters.
