This of course is welcome news. The Bundesliga in Germany is set to restart this weekend, which has only increased talks for leagues across the globe to get their players on the field once again as well.
Those who normally pack Anfield are definitely fired up right now. There were rumors swirling the EPL would cancel the rest of the season, which would bring LFC's title run to a close. However, with this latest news, Liverpool is now once again back on its way to winning its first league title since the 1989-90 campaign.
In addition to the Reds, the return of play means the hunt for the Top 4 and spots in the Champions league is back on. While Liverpool and Manchester City seem like locks, Chelsea, Manchester United and Leicester City are gunning for the other two positions. Leicester City is in third place with 53 points, while Chelsea is fourth with 48 and United stands in fifth with 45.
There will be plenty of headlines to be made starting next month. Get ready, EPL fans.
