Shohei Ohtani saw his dreams come true with the Dodgers
Starting with Ohtani, he made it clear from the moment he signed his 10-year, $700 million contract with the Dodgers that his top priority was to help this team win another World Series. Since joining LA, Ohtani looked like one of the best players in the bigs, which was the case when he was with the Angels.
Ohtani suffered some injury adversity early on in the series, but he was able to overcome things and help his team reach the ultimate goal. Ohtani has been getting showered with love for how he played from start to finish this campaign and understandably so.
Then with Betts, it's truly impossible to not like this guy. The former MVP won his third career World Series and he wasted no time telling fans he's ready for more down the road. He made the move over from Boston and he's been loving life in California.
With the Dodgers down big time in Game 5, Betts helped seal the comeback and victory with his sac fly in the top of the eighth. Whenever the Dodgers need Betts to deliver, he's there to help out this team.
Freddie Freeman was the headliner for the Dodgers thanks to his home run magic in the World Series, but you can't forget about Ohtani and Betts too. They're superstar players and we couldn't be happier for them. Congrats to Ohtani, Betts and the Dodgers as a whole for the World Series win!
