Down the road, a statue will need to go in Manchester of Argentine striker Sergio Aguero. The man will go down in history as the most prolific goal-scorer in Manchester City history.

As much as it hurts to say, though, his long run with City could come to an end in the next year or two. Aguero, who turns 32 on June 2, is under contract with the reigning Premier League champs until the end of the 2021 campaign.

While rumors had recently surfaced saying Aguero could end up leaving the club this summer, his agent has smashed those reports down to the ground.

“Sergio has a contract with Manchester City until 2021, and there is no chance of him leaving before that,” agent Hernan Reguera said. “We'll see what happens after that. I haven't spoken to Inter, and the reason is very simple: Agüero is happy with the Citizens and has no intention of changing club.”

Reguera's comments came after outlets in Italy had reveled both Real Madrid and Inter Milan had showed interest in potentially landing him this summer. As you can see, though, Aguero has ZERO plans of leaving England.

Aguero joined City in 2011 and has made more than 260 appearances with the club, scoring 180 goals. With his brilliant play leading the way, City won the EPL title in both 2018 and 2019. Oh, and of course the championship in 2012 thanks to his stunner against QPR.

Don't worry, City fans. This summer, 'Kun' won't be going anywhere.
