Sergio Aguero will leave Manchester City this summer

All good things must come to a close and that's exactly what will be occurring this summer for Sergio Aguero and Manchester City. On Monday, the club announced that after an incredible career with the team, Aguero won't return to the Etihad Stadium next season.

That's right, once his contract expires, Manchester City FC won't be bringing the Argentine striker back on a new contract. As you might imagine, this is tough to accept for countless fans out there.

Aguero is best known for his incredible goals he's scored for the team, most notably the game-winner in 2012 against QPR which gave City the English Premier League title and snatched it away from Manchester United.

Seriously, that goal will never be forgotten and Martin Tyler's Aguerooooooo call will go down in history. While City made things official on Monday, it's been rumored for a while that the club legend could be leaving.

He's been linked with several clubs already, including PSG, Chelsea and others. So, where will he end up? That's something we'll find out later this year. What we do know for sure is that Aguero won't be returning to Man City next year.

Aguero joined the team in 2011 and has been sensational ever since. The man should get a statue in Manchester because of everything he's done for City. Once he plays his final game, fans will be ready to give him a hearty applause, and you can expect plenty of tears to fly as well.
