Roberto Firmino gives Liverpool thrilling win over Tottenham with 90th minute goal

The 2,000 fans an Anfield were going nuts on Wednesday and rightfully so! In one of the biggest games of the English Premier League season, Liverpool and Tottenham met at Anfield.
It pitted the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the English Premier League table. While it looked like things were going to end with a 1-1 draw, Roberto Firmino decided he wanted the home team to take all three points. In the 90th minute, the Brazilian delivered an incredible header to give Liverpool a thrilling 2-1 win.

As you can see in the video above, headers really don't get much better than that. Hugo Lloris had no chance to prevent that from finding the back of the net for Tottenham. With the win, Liverpool now stands alone at the top of the table in first place.
The Reds opened up the scoring in the 26th minute with a goal from Mo Salah, which deflected off a Spurs defender, hit the post and then somehow went in. It was a fortunate strike for the superstar forward, but it put LFC up 1-0.
In the 33rd minute, though, Tottenham FC leveled things at 1-1 thanks to a strong finish from Heung-Min Son. It looked like he was offsides on the play, but a VAR check confirmed the goal was good.
Tottenham had multiple chances to take the lead in the second half, including a shot from Steven Bergwijn that smashed off the post. Harry Kane also had a free header inside the box that he managed to hit awkwardly.
That opened the door for Firmino to score his game-winner, which will surely be celebrated all over Liverpool on Wednesday night.
