Never count out Paris Saint-Germain! Late in their showdown with Atalanta in the quarterfinals of the Champions League on Wednesday, it looked like the Italians were getting to record one of the biggest upsets of the decade.
However, down 1-0, PSG kept fighting and scored two late goals to come away with the heart-stopping win and has officially booked its trip to the semifinals of the CL. This one sure didn't come easy, though.

Things got off to a rocky start for PSG, as Atalanta took a 1-0 lead in the 26th minute thanks to a sensational strike from Mario Pasalic. That was the score at halftime.
Throughout the second half, PSG tried desperately to find the equalizer, but the ball couldn't find the back of the net. With the French powers on the brink of elimination, prayers were answered when Marquinhos tied things up in the 90th minute.
While everyone expected there to be extra time to decide this battle, substitute Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored the game-winner three minutes into stoppage time to send PSG to the next round.
It was quite the rollercoaster ride for the players and all of the fans back at home who thought the team was going to be stunned by Atalanta. In the end, PSG did what champions do: they found the winner.
Stay tuned to see which team PSG will face in the semifinals. The club is now one win away from playing for the championship.
