In back-to-back years, the Kansas City Chiefs have won the title, powered by the incredible play of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. This group is trying to make history by posting a three-peat.
Will they be able to get the job done or is a new champ on the way? In this piece, we have our picks on who will win the AFC and NFC, respectively. We also have our early Super Bowl prediction for you.
The Bills and Josh Allen are poised to try and take down KC
It goes without saying, but Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is sick of losing to the Chiefs in January. Allen knows all about falling to Kansas City in the postseason and he has revenge on his mind this year.
Buffalo is looking to get over the hump and they were able to land a recent jab on Mahomes and the Chiefs, taking them down in Buffalo 30-21 on Nov. 17. In that victory, Allen was sensational, throwing for 262 yards and a touchdown. He added another score on the ground.
The way things are looking, the Chiefs should have home-field advantage once again. This time around, however, we think Allen will have the last laugh, as we're predicting Buffalo to win the AFC and get back to the Super Bowl.
Look for the Eagles to win the NFC once again
Right now, everyone is talking about the Detroit Lions in the NFC and rightfully so. Jared Goff and the offense look sharp, while the team's defense has been stellar too. With that said, don't forget about Philly.
The Eagles are 9-2 on the year and they appear to be getting better with each week. Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley are the main reason for that. When the Eagles signed Barkley in the offseason, everyone knew he'd be a special player.
But, did anyone expect him to be playing at an MVP level? That's exactly what he's getting done in 2024. Hurts is looking sharp too, which is great to see. We have the Eagles winning the NFC and taking on the Bills in the Super Bowl.
So, will it be Buffalo or Philly to take home the Lombardi Trophy? Call it a gut feeling, but we're going with Barkley, Hurts and the Eagles as our pick to be the Super Bowl winners.
