Patrick Mahomes is eyeing Super Bowl MVP in 2023

With Mahomes playing so well, the Kansas City fan base is feeling confident they can win it all. However, the Eagles are actually favored to capture the Lombardi Trophy and Jalen Hurts is the favorite to win MVP.

Mahomes has other ideas, though, as he's not going to let anything slow him down once kickoff arrives. His performance vs. the Bengals was incredibly gutsy, as he battled so much pain to help out his team post the unforgettable victory.

"I just tried to do whatever I could to win, and obviously, there were times where you could see that it wouldn't let me do what I wanted to," Mahomes said via ESPN. "But I was able to do enough on that last play to get the first down and get myself out of bounds and try to give Harrison the chance to win. Obviously, we got the flag, and (Ossai) pushed me, pushed me pretty late there."

Once the Super Bowl arrives, people across the globe are going to be ready to see what Mahomes can do.
Something tells us he'll be ready to deliver another epic performance and power his team to all the glory. If he does, the MVP honor will surely be waiting for him.
