It's been a week of incredible news for Arsenal fans. Not only did the English Premier League announce it will be returning to action on June 17, but that start date will include the Gunners taking on Manchester City.
To make things even sweeter, two players are celebrating special birthdays. On Thursday, star goal-scorer Alexandre Lacazette turned 29 years old. What better way to honor the frenchman than watching every single one of his EPL goals with the club?
The man just does a tremendous job of putting the ball into the back of the net. It's a big reason why he's so loved inside the Emirates Stadium.
He's not the only birthday boy in town, though, as Nicolas Pepe is celebrating his 25th birthday on Friday. Pepe is in his first year at Arsenal after he was brought in for a club-record £72 million.
While the season has been paused due to the coronavirus pandemic, Pepe scored four goals in 24 league appearances in 2019-20. He'll look to grow those numbers once play resumes in mid June.
A very happy birthday to these two Arsenal playmakers! We can't wait to see them tearing it up on the pitch against opposing defenses soon.
