With that said, rumors continue to fly that Salah could leave Anfield in the near future. Currently, he's only got 18 months left on his current contract. The two sides have been discussing a long-term deal for a while, but nothing has been finalized. With that said, Salah didn't mince words when asked if he wants to stay in town.
🗣️ Mo Salah: "If the decision is up to me, I want to stay in Liverpool, but the decision is in the hands of the management and they have to solve this issue.”

“I said it several times, if the decision is up to me, I want to stay in Liverpool,” Salah recently said via an article written by the Daily Mail. “But the decision is in the hands of the management and they have to solve this issue. There is no problem but we have to reach an agreement for the contract. It’s up to them.
"Your financial value shows how much the club appreciates you and that they are ready to do anything for you to stay, but the decision itself is not based on those financial matters only. There are things like the ambition of the team and the coach and what he wants to do with the team and the players he wants. These are all important points when making the decision.”
With Salah playing like one of the best guys in the world, he of course wants to be compensated appropriately. It'll be on the Liverpool front office to make him happy and get that job done.
They surely can't sit on their hands and expect Salah to take a smaller deal too. Salah has been linked with potential moves to Real Madrid, Barcelona and others. You already know they'd be ready to offer Salah a head-turning contract if he were to leave LFC as a free agent.
Thus far this season, Salah has scored 13 goals and recorded nine assists in 15 EPL games. If you ask us, he's worth all the money he wants. We'll have to wait and see if LFC can make him happy with a new offer here soon.
