Manchester City must go all in to land Erling Haaland

Earlier this week, monster news arrived out of the Etihad Stadium, as Manchester City announced that superstar striker Sergio Aguero will be leaving the team this summer once his contract expires. Just like that, the Argentine will be looking for a new home.

With that said, that also means City will be looking to find his long-term replacement. While several players have been linked with the club, there's no doubt the front office must make Erling Haaland a priority.

According to reports, there are several teams in on Haaland, including Man City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool. Those four clubs are the biggest in the English Premier League and all four would no doubt love to sign the superstar goal-scorer.

With that said, could you imagine if Haaland were to join City and suit up for Pep Guardiola? City has won the league title two of the last three years and they're looking ready to win it all again later this year.

Haaland would not only be a step up from Aguero, who has been limited this year due to injuries, but he'd alone instill fear in the rest of the Premier League clubs. With Man City winning the league title so consistently, now they'd be adding one of the best strikers in the world?

This would be heartbreaking news for Manchester United fans, but who cares? That's not Man City's problem. Their focus is to not only be dominant in the Premier League, but also to make plenty of noise once the Champions League rolls around too.

Come this summer, we'll have our answers to where Haaland will suit up next. His days with Borussia Dortmund appear numbered. Man City next? We sure hope so.
