If you're not familiar with Lautaro Martinez, get to know him soon, Manchester City fans. He could be headed to the Etihad Stadium/English Premier League a little later this year.
Per multiple reports, the Argentine striker has become a top target for Pep Guardiola this summer. Even better, Man City are considered the favorites to bring him to town from Inter Milan.

Imagine the South American star joining forces with Sergio Aguero in the attack.
Goodness me, that'd be a nightmare for the defenses from top to bottom in the EPL. Getting Martinez won't be easy, though, as City is joined by Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona as teams interested in getting him to England.
However, the reigning league champs appear ready to pay nearly £100 million to get things done. At just 22 years old, the stud has 16 goals for Inter Milan this season. Per The Guardian, Guardiola sees Martinez as the future forward to take the load over for Aguero, who is turning 32 in early June.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has the rest of the soccer season up in the air, this could push back when teams will be able to negotiate transfers in the summer. But, once things open back up, look for Manchester City to be aggressive in its pursuit of Mr. Martinez.
