Harry Kane opened the scoring for Tottenham

Liverpool and Tottenham treat fans to unreal 2-2 draw

What a memorable contest we just saw over in London. Whenever Tottenham and Liverpool face off, there's always going to be plenty of drama. Such was the case on Sunday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

From start to finish, fans were on the edge of their seats. In the end, though, things ended in a 2-2 draw and this one is going to be talked about for a while, that's for sure.

Harry Kane opened the scoring in the 13th minute, finishing a lovely low strike past a diving Alisson Becker. In the 35th minute, though, Diogo Jota evened things up with a great goal thanks to a brilliant cross from Andy Robertson.

Speaking of Robertson, he then gave LFC a 2-1 lead in the second half on a great header himself. That came courtesy of a wicked cross from stud right back Trent Alexander-Arnold.

That lead for Liverpool FC was short lived, however, as a Becker mistake in the box gave Heung-Min Son a wide open goal and he took full advantage to even things up at 2-2.

For Robertson, his day wasn't over, as he was given a red card thanks to a clumsy tackle. With Liverpool down to 10 men, Spurs tried to find the game-winning goal, but they couldn't get that job done.

The points were shared, with Liverpool now at 41 points and Tottenham at 26. LFC is in second place of the English Premier League table, and Spurs is in seventh.
