Mo Salah was brilliant against Man United

Liverpool win over Man United might get Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sacked

The scenes at Old Trafford were damning. When was the last time this rivalry match was so one-sided? Fans leaving at halftime in utter disbelief? Sir Alex Ferguson speechless in the stands?

Don't forget to shop our Liverpool collection for some sweet memorabilia!

Yup, that's exactly what happened on Sunday with Liverpool heading to the Theatre of Dreams and handing Manchester United a simply stunning 5-0 defeat. While LFC were considered the heavy favorites.... 5-0? Unreal!

The visitors showed their class from start to finish, with Mo Salah and his hat-trick stealing the show. Now, reports out of Manchester are stating that MUFC might end up firing Solskjaer following that embarrassing result.

At this point in the season, the fact that Manchester United is eight points out of first place and in seventh of the English Premier League table is unacceptable. This team is loaded with talent.

When you've got Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood and more, there's simply no reason for the team to look this bad on a consistent basis.

There was no life in the team on Sunday against Liverpool. LFC and Klopp outclassed United from the opening whistle. If anything, Manchester United should feel lucky that the result was only 5-0. If Liverpool kept pressing, they easily could have finished with seven or eight goals.

Now, everyone in the English Premier League will wait and see if Ole indeed is sacked. Antonio Conte's name is already being mentioned as a potential replacement. If really feels like the Liverpool loss could be what sends things over the top.

Solskjaer is a club legend after scoring the game-winning goal in 1999 to win the Champions League, but fans want him out as manager ASAP.
