Liverpool and Bayern Munich set for Jadon Sancho battle after United struck out

Just when you thought the Jadon Sancho transfer drama would be over, it looks like things are only just getting started. With English Premier League fans dreaming of his return to play in the English Premier League schedule, Manchester United blew that ahead of the EPL transfer deadline earlier this month.
Now, however, reports are stating Liverpool has out of nowhere emerged as a serious contender to sign the Borussia Dortmund winger next summer. Imagine him flying down the pitch under Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool FC. But, there's another team who also has high interest in Sancho, and they want to keep him in Germany in the Bundesliga.

It goes without saying, but this would be earth-shattering Liverpool news if the Reds would be able to land Sancho next summer during the offseason. Indeed, it'd be the biggest Liverpool transfer news in years, as Sancho is widely considered one of the best young players in the world.
To make things even greater for Liverpool, it'd undoubtedly break the hearts of Manchester United fans. United supporters remain furious with Ed Woodward and the rest of the front office for failing to bring in Sancho ahead of the Oct. 5 transfer deadline.
Things won't be easy, as this is going to be a Liverpool vs. Bayern Munich race for the superstar talent. What Liverpool has in its favor is that Sancho has said in the past that he'd love to return to England to play. He grew up in the Watford and Manchester City system, but has been with Borussia Dortmund since 2017.
If Sancho made his way to Anfield, think about how incredible the Liverpool vs. Manchester City games would be? Their supporters would hate to see him donning an LFC jersey too.
For now, we just have to wait and see how things transfer battle shapes out. But, Sancho sure would look good in a Liverpool jersey!
