Kevin de Bruyne signs Manchester City extension
He's not going anywhere! Kevin de Bruyne has solidified himself as not only one of the best midfielders in the English Premier League, but also the world as a whole.
Fortunately for Manchester City FC fans, de Bruyne and the club made quite the announcement this week, as he's officially signed a two-year contract with the club through the 2025 season.

This is of course massive news for Manchester City. The club is well on its way to winning the Premier League title this year. The team is also in the hunt to win the Champions League for the first time in its history as well.
“I could not be happier,” de Bruyne said via a club statement. “Since joining City in 2015, I have felt at home. I love the fans, my family are settled here in Manchester and my own game has developed really well.
“This football club is geared for success. It offers me everything I need to maximize my performance, so signing this contract was a straightforward decision. I am playing the best football of my career and I honestly feel there is more to come."
In the Champions League quarterfinals first leg showdown with Borussia Dortmund this week, de Bruyne opened the scoring for City in the team's 2-1 win. With his incredible passing too, he's always ready to deliver a great assist for his teammates.
Thus far, de Bruyne has already accomplished so much with Man City, winning several trophies. Looking ahead, there's plenty more to come for the Belgian superstar.
