Massive news has arrived out of North London: Jose Mourinho is no longer the manager of Tottenham Hotspur. With Spurs in the middle of a disappointing campaign, the higher ups made the tough, but necessary decision to part ways with 'The Special One.'
Mourinho took over as manager of the club 17 months ago, replacing Mauricio Pochettino, who of course is now the head man at PSG. Things didn't last for Mourinho, though, as he's officially unemployed once again.
The Club can today announce that Jose Mourinho and his coaching staff Joao Sacramento, Nuno Santos, Carlos Lalin and Giovanni Cerra have been relieved of their duties.#THFC ⚪️ #COYS

Mourinho arrived to North London after he had previously been sacked by Manchester United. Now, Spurs has decided they've seen enough and moved on in this case.
What makes this even more head-turning is that Tottenham is getting ready to take on Manchester City in the Carabao Cup Final this weekend. Yet, they've fired their manager six days before the team goes out onto the pitch with a trophy on the line?
The season could not have started better for Spurs, highlighted by a massive 6-1 victory over Man United at Old Trafford. Following that win, Tottenham FC fans started to dream about potentially pushing for a league title.
However, Tottenham has sputtered. As of this writing, the team is in seventh place of the EPL table and on the outside looking in of the Top 4, which of course would result in a Champions League spot.
To make matters worse for Mourinho, Tottenham suffered a shocking loss to Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League Round of 16 second leg, eliminating them from the tournament.
After that elimination, fans were calling for Mourinho's job. Now, those same fans have gotten their wish. The Special One is out of a job in North London. Now, we must wait and see who the board will bring in to try and turn the club around.
