His name is Memo! Goodness, fans of the Mexico National Team have grown used to seeing Guillermo Ochoa make massive saves for El Tri, and more of the same was the case on Tuesday against Poland.
In the second half, Poland was awarded a penalty and the one and only Robert Lewandowski was all set to give his team the lead with a great goal. However, Memo had other ideas.

Guillermo Ochoa penalty save vs. Poland was epic
That's the Ochoa everyone knows and loves. In pressure situations, this guy just knows how to step up and get the job done for his team. Not only that, he came up big for the entire country, as Mexican fans are as passionate as they come.
This was a crucial save for Mexico. Had Poland scored there and captured all three points, El Tri would have been at the bottom of the group table. Instead, they're now tied for second with Poland behind surprising Saudi Arabia.
Earlier in the day, Saudi Arabia shocked the world by taking down Argentina 2-1. Lionel Messi and Co. are considered among the favorites to win it all, but their chances took a massive dip with the opening loss.
Now, Mexico has some confidence under their belt leading up to their next match: a Saturday showing against Argentina and Messi in what could help determine who will finish at the top, or second, in the group.
Mexico will hope to hand Argentina a second consecutive loss. If that ends up happening, there's no question that Ochoa will have a big say in things. He's one of the best goalies in the world, and he showcased that vs. Poland.
