FA Cup 5th Round draw revealed

Chelsea F.C.

While English football fans might have their eyes all over the big matchups in league play, the battles in the FA Cup continue to heat up. Though the fourth round action isn't officially wrapped up yet, we already have matchups line up for the fifth round.

Easily the best team in the English Premier League this season, Liverpool is hoping to push through next week. After drawing 2-2 away with Shrewsbury, the Reds will look to advance on Feb. 4 in the fourth-round replay. The winner of that match will move on to face Chelsea in the fifth round.

With the potential of a Liverpool-Chelsea showdown at Stamford Bridge, fans surely are hoping for LFC to move on.

Meanwhile for Manchester City, the defending FA Cup champs will look to keep defending their crown, as they've got a showdown set up at Sheffield United.

The two sides met on Jan. 21 in Premier League action, with City coming away with 1-0 victory. Stud striker Sergio Aguero gave MC the win with a goal in the 73rd minute of that match.

Last but not least, Arsenal punched its ticket to the next round with a 2-1 victory over Bournemouth on Monday evening. The Gunners will now head to Portsmouth with a trip to the quarterfinals on the line.
