Mendes is now discussing Ronaldo’s contract with Manchester City.
Despite being 36 years old, Ronaldo still continues to play at an incredible level. There’s a reason Guardiola and City are surely interested in potentially landing his services. At the same time, it’s been reported that Juventus wants around $35 million for Ronaldo.
Will the Man City board be ready to drop that kind of money on a 36-year-old player? The club made history with the Jack Grealish transfer from Aston Villa. There were rumors of Harry Kane joining this summer, but Kane announced on social media that he’s staying put with Tottenham FC.
So, what can we expect with Ronaldo? We’ll find out before the deadline arrives, but again, it will really break so many Manchester United supporter’s hearts if he were to suit up at the Etihad Stadium.
Ronaldo won three EPL titles with United, and the Champions League in 2008 with a win over Chelsea in Russia. Folks are already losing their minds on social media at the thought of Ronaldo arriving in Manchester, only to don the blue of City. Stay tuned to see what happens here, soccer fans.
