Chelsea won't have to worry about Ronaldo when facing Man United

With Chelsea FC all set to host Manchester United for a big Premier League showdown at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, countless fans were ready to see Cristiano Ronaldo in action. Well, that won't be the case.

Earlier in the week, Ronaldo left the field early and refused to come on to the pitch in the United matchup against Tottenham. Manager Erik ten Hag has suspended Ronaldo for the next game, which is good news for Chelsea and manager Graham Potter.

When you take a look at the Premier League table, Saturday's fixture sure is a big one. Chelsea currently sits in fourth place with 20 points, while United is right behind them at 19. With a win for United in this one, they'll hop CFC, which no one wants to see.

Meanwhile for Chelsea, they're looking to keep building momentum now that Potten has gotten some games under his belt after taking over the club for Thomas Tuchel.

Potter arrived from Brighton FC and he's surely been a breath of fresh air for the players. Now, Potter will have a tough test in going up against the Red Devils, who feature Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, Antony and others.

Chelsea will look for their big-name players to have impressive showings against MUFC. Luckily for Mason Mount, Thiago Silva, Jorginho and more, they won't have to worry about CR7 in this gigantic clash.
