There will be no treble campaign for Liverpool. Nope, Chelsea made sure all the talk of a 'dream season' was put to rest on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge.

The two sides met in the fifth round of the FA Cup, but the Blues let the Reds know who was boss, taking down Liverpool with a convincing 2-0 victory.

Brazilian winger Willian got things started for the home side, blasting a shot at LFC goalie Adrian, which somehow found the back of the net in the 13th minute. Willian's effort hit the Liverpool keeper right in the hands, but then bounced off of him to give Chelsea the early 1-0 advantage.

In the second half, Chelsea kept the pressure going and a beautiful counter attack resulted in Ross Barkley firing off a laser of a shot that found its way past a diving Adrian in the 64th minute.

Pedro nearly made things 3-0 shortly after, but Adrian was able to block his attempt. Regardless, Barkley's blast closed the door on Liverpool's FA Cup. While the Reds are well on their way to winning their first league title in 30 years, there will be no treble, which is a relief for Manchester United fans everywhere.

On Tuesday, Chelsea showed once again Liverpool isn't invincible, putting on a show in London.
