What's this, VAR actually did its job for once and helped Arsenal come away with a victory over West Ham United? Believe it, Gunners!

When Lacazette found the back of the net, it was originally ruled offsides. The Frenchman couldn't believe it, lifting his jersey over his face. You just felt bad for the guy.
However, after a VAR review, you could clearly see it was a clean play. Moments later, it was announced the goal was good and Arsenal was officially in front. Lacazette's celebration was delayed, but you better believe he felt great once the scoreboard read 1-0.
For Arsenal, this was a much-needed win. After recently being eliminated from the Europa League, the team morale needed a boost. A close victory over West Ham is just what the doctor ordered, as the team is now at 40 points for the season.
They stand five points behind Chelsea, who remain in fourth place of the English Premier League standings. Will plenty of season left, it's never too late for the Gunners to go on a late push to try and grab a Champions League spot for next season.
