“To be inducted alongside Alan Shearer as the two first inductees into the Premier League Hall of Fame is more than special," Henry said via an Arsenal release. "When I was young, I was just trying to make sure I could get a pair of boots and now we’re talking about the Hall of Fame.
"During my career I wanted to play hard and make sure I was fighting for the cause, because that’s all the fans want to see. If you asked me at the start of my career about entering the Hall of Fame, I wouldn’t have believed you. It’s an amazing honor.”
Henry will go down as one of the best players in Arsenal history, and the EPL for that matter. While suiting up for the Gunners, he helped the club win two league titles. From start to finish, the forward scored an unreal 175 career goals for Arsenal in 258 appearances.
Even more impressive, Henry scored at least 20 goals from 2001 to 2006. That stat right there is unheard of. He's made Gunners fans everywhere proud with this latest accomplishment, there's no doubt about that. From everyone here at Signables, a big congrats to Henry for this incredible news.
