The trip to Dubai was a complete and total success!

After heading to warmer climates for the English Premier League's winter break, Arsenal returned to the pitch on Sunday to face Newcastle United. The result was a 4-0 thumping delivered by the Gunners, who really turned things on in the second half to come away with the convincing victory.

Early on in the second half, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put the Gunners up 1-0 in the 54th minute thanks to a lovely pass from Nicolas Pepe. Just three minutes later, Pepe decided he wanted to find the back of the net himself, putting Arsenal up 2-0.

Pepe had another superb day on Sunday, showing once again how key of a signing he was. The 24-year-old Ivory Coast native finished the day with his goal, plus two assists.

Mesut Ozil made things 3-0 in the 90th minute for Arsenal, while Alexandre Lacazette delivered the final blow in the 95th minute.

A 4-0 win in the first match after the break? Yup, Arsenal fans everywhere are feeling pretty dang good right now.
